Two cups, a scatter of pellets, a blade and a coin. Le Bateleur is no magus but a mountebank, a fairground sleight-of-hand man working a crowd. The altar came later. Everything he needs is already on the table, which is either encouraging or accusing depending on the day.
Printed on a Bella+Canvas 3001, the card sized to read as a card rather than a poster. Hand-vectored from an 1891 French chromolithograph in the Besançon pattern. No auto-trace, no AI.
